ACTIVAN-PD
Activan-PD
is a textile printing auxiliary formulation of organinc and inorganic
acid liberating chemicals in excellent proportion that works as a
superb buffer during the acid printing process of synthetic fabrics.
It is completely safe for the printing of viscose blended synthetic
fabric with moderately and permissibly excessive concentration of the
product into the printing paste.

Application:-
0.5% -
0.75 % Activan-PD for good quality TKP cooked gum paste ( to
maintain pH 4.0)
or
1.25%
- 1.50 % Activan-PD for guar gum type cooked paste. ( to
maintain pH 4.0)
The
above recipe is complete in itself. No other extra additions are
required like loop accelerator, penetrating agent or anti foaming
agent. However, minor adjustment may sometimes be needed due to
individual plant situations. The prints are steamed @ 25 to 30
Lbs/sq. in. pressure for 30 minutes. Alternatively, @ 165-1800C
for 8-6 min., in a loop steamer. After fixation, the prints are given
usual after-treatments.
