STAINEX

STAINEX is a high performance textile auxiliary formulation having multifunctional applicability in the process of Scouring, Desizing and Swelling of Synthetic and Natural fibre-fabric like Nylon, Wool, Silk, Polyester, Cationically dyeable polyester, Cashmilon etc. This is very much suitable @for the Deguming of silk.

SPECIFICATION:-

Base It is a special formulation of anionic and nonionic surfactants, emulsifiers, special non-hazardous and non-flammable solvents and stain releasing agents.

Composition Clear light yellow-brown liquid.

Nature Mildly Anionic

PH (Self) Weakly Alkaline

% NVC at 105⁰C/180' 30% to 32%

Storage Stable under normal condition. Its containers should not be kept open because volatile active ingredients may get reduced in their concentration and the active surfactants may get solidified or crystallized.

Toxicity Aquatic Toxicity L.C. 50 - 0.005% (V/V)

Corrosion Non Corrosive.

Health Safety Avoid direct contact and handle it with proper care. Flush the part of the body, which comes in the contact with it with lot of cold water as soon as possible.

Advantages :

- It regulates the scouring and bleaching processed in both the alkaline and acid mediums.

- It removes the occluded oils, soil particles, metal particles, different types of stains, sizes and other unwanted marks very easily.

- It reduces the consumption of alkali and detergents.

- It increases the absorbency.

- It helps in stabilizing the reducing as well as the oxidizing products employed as bleaching agents in the scouring bath

Application

1.0% to 1.5% STAINEX on the weight of fabric or yam.

How to Use

Apply 0.75% STAINEX with Hydro and Caustic Soda, Scour at 125⁰C for 30 minutes. For Desizing apply 1% of STAINEX with Hydro and Caustic Soda 0.2 gpl Non-ionic detergent is suggested with above said. After scouring drain the bath. Take fresh water to neutralize the fabric or yarn with applying 0.5% of STAINEX with required Acid at 85⁰C for 20 minutes. 0.2 gpl Non-ionic detergent is suggested with above said. This gives you a very satisfactory result.

For Swelling

To swell the fabric or yam 4 to 5 gpl of STAINEX is recommended.

For Degumming of Silk

(1) Apply 1 gpl Caustic Soda with 2 gpl STAINEX at 90⁰C for 30 to 40 minutes.

OR

(2) Apply 3 gpl Soda Ash with 2 gpl STAINEX at 90⁰C for 30 to 40 minutes. Acidify

with Oxalic Acid.

Usage of STAINEX will increase the Tear Strength of Silk Fabric / Yam.
