Advantages
- It works as an assistant for disperse dye migration during dyeing. It ensures level dyeing.
- It allows dye solubilising effect for efficient stripping or
correcting faulty dyeing. Itis compatible with anionic dispersing
system.
- It is biodegradable.
Application
After scouring drain the bath. Take fresh water up to 350 to 400 Lts.
Add 0.5 gpl Famous-DPL with I gpl to 1.25 gpl activan-PD to maintain
required pH level. Add the solution of disperse dyestuff to jet dyeing
machine and raise the temperature up to 130ºC-135ºC at the rate of 1ºC
per minute and hold it of 10 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the
depth of the shade. After completion of dyeing cool the bath to 85ºC
and drain. Wash the batch with fresh water or carry out RC process if
the depth of the shade demands. After RC process carry out the washing
maintaining acidic pH for subsequent processing.
For stripping of faulty dyeing 1 gpl to 1.5 gpl Famous -DPL is
suggested with 0.8 gpl to 1.0 gpl Activan-PD maintaining pH 5 with
suitable carrier, The material is stripped at 135ºC to 140ºC for 60 to
90 minutes.
